Born as the amalgamation of incredible new technologies developed by Rolex, COMEX (the French deep-sea diving company) and the US Navy during the late '60s, the Sea-Dweller was the original ultra-durable dive computer, and featured pioneering technology in the form of a helium escape valve. The 16600 model was eventually superseded by the 116660 in 2008, but remains the quintessential dive watch.
