The watches use a brilliant “dual wing” movement boasting two separate mainspring power sources (visible through the caseback). The first is used purely for the main time display, and the second caters to additional complications. In this case, the elegant dial showcases the hours and minutes symmetrically opposite a monocounter display for the watch's stunningly executed single-pusher chronograph. The 6 o'clock dial is a “foudroyante” (jumping) seconds, which completes a full rotation once per second. The gold seconds hand from the centre keeps regular time, while the blue one is the stopwatch — a nice touch differentiating dial elements by colour, according to which power source they use (including the two power reserve indicators themselves, retrograde at the bottom of the dial).
