About this watch

Omega has a history with James Bond that stretches to 1995's Goldeneye. In every film since then, the world's greatest British spy has worn a Seamaster Professional, often fitted with an array of exciting gadgets. Casino Royale in 2006 was the first Bond picture to feature a second Omega—the Seamaster Planet Ocean with co-axial escapement. And it wasn't just any Planet Ocean—it was a one-off edition that had been made especially for the film. Released in 5007 pieces with a unique 007 second hand and the movie's logo on the caseback, this watch is very similar to the one worn by Daniel Craig on screen, complete with 45.5mm case, arrow hands, black uni-directional bezel and 600m water rating.

This Omega has undergone a thorough inspection of accuracy, functionality and condition at our Omega certified service centre to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards. It has also been checked against our records to ensure authenticity. All our watches have a 12-month warranty for your peace of mind.

Brilliant retail experience.

I made an appointment at Maidstone with a very friendly guy called Adam with a view to trading in my Breightling Avenger for a much sought after Omega Planet Ocean Ltd edition James Bond Casino Royale... when I arrived he had been unfortunately called away to another office, but I was greeted by another friendly guy called Sean, he offered me a... read more

2 watches

I bought 2 watches and as such they agreed to improve the price slightly. Service was fabulous and the watches arrived the next day. Superb.

I made an appointment at Maidstone with a very friendly guy called Adam with a view to trading in my Breightling Avenger for a much sought after Omega Planet Ocean Ltd edition James Bond Casino Royale when I arrived he had been unfortunately called away to another office, but I was greeted by another friendly guy called Sean, he offered me a very good trade in deal, unfortunately or maybe not I made the mistake of wearing the Breightling to the appointment and suddenly thought I cannot part with it after all, so the deal was off because I needed the Breightling to finance this deal. No problem Sean still cut me a good deal for the Omega and arranged very favourable finance so I could keep my watch and go home with a watch that I very much wanted. Brilliant trouble free retail experience from a very friendly, professional company I will certainly go again to do business with these guys.

Review: Omega Seamaster PloProf
Posted 01/06/18
‘It may not look pretty on the surface, but deep down it’s beautiful.’ Those aren’t my words—those are Omega’s. The people there tasked with building the brand’s most advanced diver yet knew their watch was no looker, but that didn’t matter. It wasn’t for strutting about with; it was for using. It was the Plongeur Professionnel, the PloProf—the Professional Diver.

Review: Omega Seamaster 300
Posted 17/06/15
For the cynical among us, it's becoming difficult to remain enthusiastic when Omega announces the results of yet another archival plundering. We all enjoy a good look back into the past, but there's a limit, a time to move forward with our lives and on to something new, right? So when news broke of the arrival of a Seamaster 300 reissue, the collective groan from watch-weary enthusiasts was palpable. Was that dismayed exhalation justified? Is Omega's copy-paste approach to watchmaking wearing thin?

Market Watch: Rolex Submariner 1680 ‘Red’
Posted 13/07/15
It doesn't require a huge knowledge of watches to know that vintage Submariners are a popular place to put money. The hardy little dive watch has served Rolex well since its inauguration in the early 1950s, building a loyal following that has almost become something of a cult. Collectors argue over the merest details: fonts, logos, and even manufacturing defects being among the points of contention that drive arguments - and prices - sky high.

Market Watch: Omega Seamaster Professional 600 ‘PloProf’
Posted 16/07/14
1970 was an important year for watchmaking. Three years after the launch of the Sea-Dweller, 1970 was the year that introduced the only watch likely to take the fight to Rolex's behemoth: the Omega PloProf. Angled and slab-like, the PloProf was leagues ahead of its time both technologically and stylistically: it used scratch-resistant mineral glass over the Sea-Dweller's plexiglass, had a locking bezel with push-button release and a crown protector design unlike anything ever seen before. Ultimately, the Sea-Dweller was victorious in the fight to win a contract with deep-sea diving agency COMEX, but the PloProf won a different battle: it was by far the most inventive and interesting diver of that great period.
