If you’re lucky enough to own a Rolex, your wrist game is on a par with a multitude of stars across music, film, sport and beyond. From rappers Drake and Jay-Z to the Dalai Lama, those who have joined the Rolex club are as varied as the watches themselves. Let’s look at the models favoured by the Crown’s A-list fans…
Daytona
If Tom Holland, aka Spiderman, is a fan of the Daytona, there’s no reason you shouldn’t be, too. Holland has a few Rolexes in his collection, but his steel “Panda”-dial Daytona oozes effortless cool, making it a standout piece. Both British rapper Stormzy and former-Spice-Girl-turned-fashion-designer Victoria Beckham also champion the Daytona.
Oyster Perpetual
Although the Oyster Perpetual is one of Rolex’s most pared-down models, it’s found itself on the wrists of some big personalities. We’re talking YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul who has a Tiffany-blue model, and the charismatic boxer Tyson Fury with his red-dialled piece. Meanwhile legendary actor Sylvester Stallone has a green-dialled version.
Datejust
It appears the Datejust is a hit with celebrities just like it is the rest of us. It’s been spotted on the wrist of superstar singer and businesswoman Rihanna, who owns an elegant two-tone steel and yellow-gold model with diamond indices. Tennis hero Roger Federer and Manchester United footballer Mason Mount are also Datejust fans.
Milgauss
Hollywood icon Jennifer Aniston is renowned for her love of Rolex. Our favourite is her unique black PVD-treated Milgauss, making for a stylishly rugged choice. Singer and actor Justin Timberlake has also been spotted with a Milgauss on his wrist, the sought-after Z-Blue edition, which he wore during an appearance on The Ellen Show.
Submariner
One of the most recognisable dive watches around, the Submariner is a firm favourite for many of us, as well as those with a high profile. Actor Mark Wahlberg has at least four Submariners, our pick being his yellow-gold model with a blue dial and bezel. Other Submariner fans include Hollywood favourites Jack Black and Keanu Reeves.
Day-Date
The Day-Date is considered the crème de la crème of Rolex collections, so naturally a multitude of A-listers have one in their collection. Everyone from rapper Drake to singer and actress Jenifer Lopez to the Dalai Lama own this top-tier model. We particularly like hip-hop superstar and business mogul Jay-Z’s platinum Day-Date with an ice-blue Arabic dial.
Cellini

The discontinued Cellini lives on via famous fans who continue to rock this dress watch, one of whom is the singer and actor The Weeknd. He was snapped wearing a yellow-gold Cellini King Midas on a black leather strap. Other well-known fans include former US President Barack Obama and comedian and avid watch collector Kevin Hart.
