Description
The Radiomir collection is named for the distinctive luminescent compound Panerai developed when it sold watches to the Italian Navy in the 1930s. The ability to tell time in murky waters was prized by the deadly Frogmen divers, and the classic military designs and exceptionally high quality finishing have been prized by collectors ever since. This PAM 183 from the 'Historic' collection still features fantastic quality lume for the numerals and indices on the lower layer of the famous sandwich dial. This model boasts a delightful manual wind movement and crystal caseback. The dial is graced with the Black Seal moniker, a reference to the WWII torpedoes used by the Frogmen.
This Panerai Radiomir Manual PAM00183 has a black quarter arabic dial and a leather strap. This Panerai has undergone a thorough inspection of accuracy, functionality and condition at our Panerai certified service centre to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards.
